Tell us how long you have been performing and how you got started?
I have been singing for approx. 30 years. Most of my public singing has been in Church settings. I have been singing classic rock and pop music for the past two years. I have recently been signed by the Tyler Music Group of Nashville, TN and have just completed my first EP consisting of 5 of my orginal songs. The tracks are in the process of being mastered at this time and all should be available soon for packaging. The song that is posted "Princess of My Heart" is the first mastered track that is available and will be the signiture song on the album. We do have plans to return to the studio in the near future to record 5 more original songs as well as a bonus track that will be a cover of "Journey's" classic hit, "Faithfully". I will make an announcement when this takes place.

Can you tell us how you personally write songs?
They all are related to personal experiences - I don't think that I could write a concept song - it just would not seem real. I begin with a melody that is floating around in my head, and then begin writing the lyrics to the verese first - sometimes it is the chorus first, but more often than not it is the verses. With me a song is a work in progress. I really do not know how the Chorus will be until I get to that point, and the song just develops as it goes along. For me to write a good song, I need to have a thought to work on, kind of like writing a story only to music - that is what happened with "Princess of My Heart".

Who has helped you the most with your music?
I am really a self-developed song writer. I have been influenced by a number of artists, namely Steve Perry of Journey. I also listen to a lot of music and try to see how other writers are crafting their songs. My wife has also been a big help with my music, just in her support and encouragement.
