This is the signiture song off of my new EP entitled "From The Heart". I wrote this song for my wife while we were dating. She was going through a tough time in her life and was feeling really down. She contacted me one day and told me that she was going to the store but hoped that no one would see her, because she was dressed so poorly and her hair wasn't just right, and she just didn't want to see anyone. I tried to explain to her that if one is beautiful, then others will see that, no matter how you are dressed or how hard you try to conceal yourself. The thought immediately came to mind of a Princess in a mid-evil village, that wanted to know more about her subjects. She dresses in tatered clothes and walks among her subjects, but one by one people begin to notice that there is something different about her, and finally they all realize that she is the Princess. Anyway, that is how this song came to be. I hope that you enjoy it - This is a power ballad that builds throughout the song - please give it a chance and listen all the way through - you will not be disapointed.
